Most of the actors and actress face ultimate depression due to so many reasons and media always hide the truth if some people who are in power are involved. And of course it is open secret.<\/p>\n

There was also news that Priyanka Chopra had also attempted suicide during her struggling days. But, fortunately, the actress didn\u2019t take any wrong step.\u00a0However, there have been many suicidal incidents in Indian film industry over the past few years.<\/p>\n

Popular Tamil TV actor Sai Prashanth started his career as a video jockey and hosted a popular show, \u2018Dil Dil Manadhil\u2019. He is known for working in serials such as \u2018Annamalai\u2019, \u2018Selvi\u2019 and \u2018Arasi\u2019, Prashant also starred in Tamil films like \u2018Neram\u2019, \u2018Thegidi\u2019 and \u2018Vadacurry\u2019.\u00a0He committed suicide at his residence in Chennai by mixing poison in his drink and consumed it.<\/p>\n

In his suicide note, Prashanth said his second wife Sujitha or for that no one else should be blamed for his decision. He also said that his death would not create any problems for Sujitha and that his parents would return all her jewellery along with Rs.500,000. The actor also wrote that he was a \u2018problem\u2019 for himself.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2. Silk Smitha<\/h2>\n

Silk Smitha who was a sex symbol in the South film industry acted in over 400 films which even included Bollywood movies. Silk Smitha had contacted her friend, dancer Anuradha, to discuss a matter that was disturbing her on the night of September 22, 1996.<\/p>\n

But, Anuradha said she could not come during the night, as her husband would be coming home shortly, but would meet her in the morning. In the morning of September 23, 1996, Smitha was found dead in her Chennai home. The reason behind her death remains a mystery.<\/p>\n

3. Divya Bharti<\/h2>\n

Divya committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor of her apartment on April 5, 1993. She was only 19 when she passed away. She acted in around 14 films and had even bagged the Best Debutant Award.<\/p>\n

Several theories circulated in the media during that time. One such was involvement of her husband with underworld mafia and some said, Sajid Nadiadwala, her husband to be the main culprit involved in plotting her murder.<\/p>\n

The Tollywood hero began his career with a hat-trick of super hits in the early 90s, hung himself at his flat. There are rumours that he was intentionally sidelined by the top stars and producers after his immensely successful initial years. A day after his death, sources claimed that depression might have driven Telugu actor Uday Kiran to end his life.<\/p>\n

5. Jiah Khan<\/h2>\n

Jiah Khan committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her own bedroom on July 13, 2013. Her mother believes that the reason behind her death is Sooraj Pancholi. Jiah Khan was so depressed because of her love life. In the suicide note written by Jiah, it is clearly mentioned that Sooraj Pancholi ruined her life.<\/p>\n

6. Kuljeet Randhawa<\/h2>\n

Kuljeet who was an Indian model and actress killed herself in February 2006 by hanging herself. In her suicide note, it was clearly stated that no one was responsible for her death.<\/p>\n

Kuljeet Randhawa was a close friend of former Miss India Nafisa Joseph who had also committed suicide by hanging herself.<\/p>\n

She addressed a special note to Bhanu Uday saying, \u201c\u201dI\u2019m sorry Bhanu, I\u2019m paying for my sins. You\u2019re the most beautiful person in my life. You taught me the true meaning of love.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

7. Nafisa Joseph<\/h2>\n

Former Miss India and video jockey Nafisa Joseph committed suicide at her residence in Versova, Mumbai in 2004. The successful model was facing troubles in her personal life when she found out that her fianc\u00e9 was already married.<\/p>\n

She was supposed to marry businessman Gautam Khanduja but she found out that her fianc\u00e9 was already married. It was said that some problems between them may have led to her death.<\/p>\n

8. Pratyusha Banerjee<\/h2>\n

Pratyusha Banerjee who was an Indian television actress had appeared in numerous television and reality shows. She hanged herself inside her Mumbai flat. It is believed that the cause of death is depression over her relationship with boyfriend, producer Rahul Raj Singh.<\/p>\n

Every person gets depressed at certain point in life and that can\u2019t be escaped. And person can be relieved from depression only through sharing it to someone who can really understand and gives moral support.\u00a0Whatever the career it is, especially in film industry career, it is not so easy to tackle depressions.<\/p>\n
