UNDERSTANDING SEXUAL SPIRITS<\/h1>\n

Breakthrough | Freedom |Dominion.<\/p>\n

There are many\u00a0wicked\u00a0spirits\u00a0controlled by Satan\u00a0that\u00a0have been released\u00a0in\u00a0our world today.\u00a0Amongst them,\u00a0the only spirit that fights with the anointing upon a man or woman of God\u2019s life\u00a0and often prevail is sexual spirits.<\/p>\n

Satan has many arsenals\u00a0under his sleeves\u00a0which\u00a0he\u00a0may\u00a0use\u00a0to disarm\u00a0a man or\u00a0woman of God\u00a0and\u00a0strip them of the anointing God\u00a0Has\u00a0placed upon their life.\u00a0Often,\u00a0he may use the sprit of\u00a0pride,\u00a0narcissism, covetousness,\u00a0strife or division, but\u00a0his most powerful weapon\u00a0is sexual spirits.<\/p>\n

Through out the Bible,\u00a0the only spirit that contends with God\u2019s anointing and often prevail\u00a0is a sexual spirit.<\/p>\n

Consider King David, an anointed man of God,\u00a0who\u00a0had the strength to\u00a0kill\u00a0ten\u00a0thousand Philistines\u00a0(1 Samuel 18:7). He\u00a0had the strength to\u00a0kill\u00a0a lion and a\u00a0bear\u00a0(1 Samuel 17:34-36). He\u00a0killed\u00a0a\u00a0giant called Goliath\u00a0who terrorized an entire army\u00a0until David silenced him,\u00a0cutting his head with his own sword\u00a0(1 Samuel 17). Nevertheless,\u00a0when Satan\u00a0wanted to\u00a0destroy David, he used his favorite\u00a0secret\u00a0weapon (seductive sexual spirit). Through\u00a0the lust of the\u00a0eyes,\u00a0David\u2019s\u00a0physical\u00a0strength\u00a0was\u00a0weakened,\u00a0and Satan\u00a0lurked him\u00a0and led\u00a0him\u00a0into committing\u00a0adultery\u00a0with\u00a0Bathsheba the wife of a man called Uriah\u00a0(2 Samuel 11).<\/p>\n

Consider Samson, here is a man who killed a lion with his bear hands\u00a0(Judges 14:5).\u00a0The Bible\u00a0also\u00a0records that\u00a0he\u00a0also\u00a0used\u00a0ajawbone\u00a0of a donkey\u00a0to kill a thousand\u00a0Philistine\u00a0soldiers (Judges 15:25).\u00a0Samson was able to kill a thousand Philistines by\u00a0himself but was\u00a0brought\u00a0to his knees by\u00a0a\u00a0seductive sexual spirit inside of a woman called Delilah\u00a0(Judges chapter 16).<\/p>\n

Every Christian has been\u00a0given\u00a0the full armor of God\u00a0to\u00a0combat the spirit of wickedness in higher places\u00a0according\u00a0to\u00a0Ephesians 6:10-18. But\u00a0when it comes to sexual spirits,\u00a0God does not encourage his children to stand\u00a0and fight, He\u00a0gives\u00a0them\u00a0one specific instruction\u00a0and that is to\u00a0flee. The Bible says\u00a0in 1\u00a0Corinthians 6:18,<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>Flee<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that\u00a0<\/em>committeth<\/em>\u00a0fornication\u00a0<\/em>sinneth<\/em>\u00a0against his own body<\/em>\u201d<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The word flee means:\u00a0To\u00a0run\u00a0hastily\u00a0or\u00a0abruptly\u00a0from imminent danger\u00a0or evil.<\/p>\n

God in\u00a0His\u00a0infinite wisdom understands that sexual spirits are not to be taken lightly. He simply\u00a0warned us\u00a0to\u00a0flee.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Consider\u00a0Lot and his family\u00a0who\u00a0were instructed to leave\u00a0the city of\u00a0Sodom and Gomorrah\u00a0since\u00a0it was filled\u00a0with sexual sins.\u00a0Godgave them one specific instruction and that is to\u00a0flee<\/em>\u00a0for their lives and never to look back (Genesis 19:17).<\/p>\n

Every battle you will encounter in your Christian walk, God will encourage you to face it with the help of His Holy Spirit. But when it comes to sexual spirits,\u00a0God doesn\u2019t encourage you to stand and fight. He simply says to\u00a0flee<\/em>. Why? Because it has brought many\u00a0great\u00a0men and women down,\u00a0demolishing their reputation as well as the reputation of God Himself.<\/p>\n

Satan often uses sexual spirits to defeat those who possess\u00a0the most threat against his kingdom. When he cannot destroy you through other means, he will use a sexual spirit by influencing a person to seduce you or by using inappropriate sexual content on the internet or television as his final tool to lurk\u00a0you into\u00a0sinning against your body which is the temple of God\u00a0(1\u00a0Corinthians 6:18-19).<\/p>\n

Once\u00a0you\u00a0fall\u00a0victim\u00a0to sexual sins,\u00a0you open yourself for unclean spirits to\u00a0enter\u00a0your body.\u00a0Once this happens there is\u00a0only two\u00a0things\u00a0you can\u00a0do,<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Repent,\u00a0turn away from\u00a0your\u00a0sin\u00a0and don\u2019t repeat it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Seek\u00a0an anointed person who has been called into the ministry of deliverance to\u00a0command the spirit to come out of you\u00a0just as\u00a0Jesus did in Luke 4:36.\u00a0<\/strong>(If\u00a0you are\u00a0in a\u00a0leadership\u00a0position in\u00a0a church,\u00a0the enemy may use\u00a0fear tactics\u00a0such as\u00a0fear of\u00a0embarrassment, fear of loosing your position as a means to trap you or hinder you from\u00a0getting delivered).<\/p>\n

When\u00a0the above suggestions\u00a0are\u00a0neglected,\u00a0the unclean sexual spirit will reside in your body\u00a0permanently\u00a0referring to your body as\u00a0its\u00a0home (Matthew 12:43-45). Until\u00a0it\u2019s evicted\u00a0or castout,\u00a0you will\u00a0relapse back and forth with sexual sins,\u00a0you may\u00a0repent today,\u00a0but\u00a0will\u00a0fall\u00a0right back into the same\u00a0sin\u00a0and\u00a0experience greater\u00a0struggle\u00a0with sexual lust\u00a0in\u00a0your Christian walk.<\/p>\n
