If you\u2019ve read this blog for long, you know\u00a0I\u2019m a firm believer in the power of prayer<\/strong>, so today I\u2019m sharing a\u00a0house blessing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our family has moved many times over the years, and we\u00a0cover the entire process with prayer<\/strong>\u00a0every time. And when we built a house from the ground up back in 2003, we built it on our knees.<\/p>\n

Every step of the way, we prayed God would\u00a0make our home a light on the hill<\/strong>. That His love would shine from the heart of every member of our family out through every window and door.<\/p>\n

We knew that\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cUnless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Psalm 127:1<\/a>)<\/h2>\n

That\u2019s why we prayed for His blessing when the foundations were laid.\u00a0We wrote verses of Scripture on the studs when our house was framed<\/strong>. We committed it to the Lord as the finishing touches were applied. And we relied on God\u2019s abundant provision of strength and energy when the time finally came to move in.<\/p>\n

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve prayed these same prayers over every home we\u2019ve ever lived in<\/strong>, before or since. Whether big or small. Near or far. Owning, renting, or assigned by the army.<\/p>\n

So I thought it was high time I made a free printable of this\u00a0\u201cHouse Blessing\u201d<\/a>\u00a0to add to\u00a0my prayer guide collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n
