The Power of Positive Words:Words contain both meaning and energy<\/h3>\n

Words have many layers and are more than just a way to communicate because words have energy – they hold a vibration, have power, and can sometimes reveal our secrets.<\/p>\n

Words have the power to impact us both negatively and positively on a daily basis<\/strong>\u00a0and after reading\u00a0Sharon Anne Klingler’s book\u00a0Power Words<\/a>\"\"\u00a0I understand why.<\/p>\n

We feel good or bad vibes from certain words because there are positive energy and negative energy words.<\/p>\n

More than a Definition – Words are Energy<\/h3>\n

A word is more than its definition because it contains energy and power. In her book, Klingler explains that we actually feel words:<\/p>\n

– When you think of the word\u00a0<\/strong>inch –<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>notice what happens to your energy.<\/p>\n

How do you feel as you think or say the word?<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Try the same thing with the word\u00a0mile<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did you feel a difference in your energy between those two words? (I definitely did.)<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Next, close your eyes and think of the words\u00a0short<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0tall<\/em>?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did your energy shrink with\u00a0short and<\/em>\u00a0expand with\u00a0tall?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

And what about those two words\u00a0shrink<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0expand<\/em>?<\/p>\n

It’s crazy how we can feel such a difference in the words. Klingler explains that even though words don’t seem to have an emotional value we can still feel a difference between them,\u00a0and that’s because words have energy.<\/em><\/p>\n

Images and the Power of Words<\/h3>\n

You may not even realize it, but you have specific images and sensations attached to certain words.<\/p>\n

Let’s try another word experiment:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Think of the word\u00a0soft<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What comes to mind?<\/p>\n

What images or feelings pop up for you with the word\u00a0soft<\/em>?<\/p>\n

– How does the word\u00a0hard\u00a0<\/em>feel to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Do you feel a difference between<\/strong>\u00a0the words\u00a0spark, light,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0shine\u00a0<\/em>versus\u00a0dull, dark\u00a0<\/em>or\u00a0heavy?<\/em><\/p>\n

Can you feel an energy shift with those words? The first group of words would be an example of positive energy words.<\/p>\n

Your Memories, Emotions, and Words<\/h3>\n

Depending on your personal experiences, you’ll have positive or negative attachments to words too; happy times would be associated with positive energy words, while unpleasant and painful memories would have negative words attached.<\/p>\n

– Are there any words that trigger specific emotions in you?<\/p>\n

– Maybe it’s a specific name or place that affects you?<\/p>\n

Because of our emotional attachment to certain words, they actually create our lives:\u00a0Our words color, and also expose, how we view our world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Can you think of any words that you like to use that actually reveal something about you?<\/p>\n

The Power of Positive Words<\/h3>\n

Using\u00a0words that inspire you<\/a>\u00a0on a daily basis will change your thoughts, energy, and therefore your actions –\u00a0which also attracts more positive energy to you!<\/em><\/p>\n

Using negative words, or self-defeating words, surround you with negative energy and attract more negative circumstances to you.<\/p>\n

This is one reason that\u00a0journaling\u00a0<\/a>and affirmations work so well and people do them.<\/p>\n

The fact that words have the power to reach us on an emotional level is just one reason to pay attention to the words we use!<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe language you use brings forth the life that you create. And the words that you use over and over are the language that teaches you – and teaches the world about you. Your words are reflections – images of yourself.\u201d – Sharon Anne Klingler<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Vibrational Frequency of Words<\/h3>\n

Words also vibrate at different frequencies which also affect us.<\/p>\n

A good example is the word\u00a0love.<\/em><\/p>\n

The word love<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0vibrates at a much higher frequency than the word\u00a0hate<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can feel the difference in the energy of the two words.<\/p>\n

You can\u00a0attract positive energy<\/a>\u00a0to you by using high vibrational words – a good example would be words used in meditation, chanting or during prayer.<\/p>\n

Other positive energy words are words like love, inspiration, hope, joy, happiness and even a word like possibility has an expansive feeling to it.<\/p>\n

But you can use any words that raise your vibration, motivate you or light you up!<\/p>\n

Since we can feel the difference between the energy of words pay attention to how certain words make you feel and surround yourself with positive high-vibe words!<\/p>\n

The Color and Energy of Words<\/h3>\n

Colors also affect the vibration and frequency of words.<\/p>\n

For example,\u00a0what colors do you see with the words\u00a0hot\u00a0<\/em>versus\u00a0cold?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

– Or the word\u00a0anger\u00a0<\/em>versus\u00a0peace?<\/em><\/p>\n

I tend to see dark red for\u00a0anger\u00a0<\/em>(I’m sure most would see red) and I see light blue and white for\u00a0peace<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEach word – even when it\u2019s not spoken – carries a vibration that can impact your other senses. This vibration can cause you to sense heavy or light, cold or hot, bright colors or dark.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Using the right words can raise your vibrational frequency,\u00a0so be on the lookout for your positive energy words.<\/p>\n

Shapes of Words<\/h4>\n

The shape of words can also change how we feel.<\/p>\n

Check out the difference below:<\/p>\n

It’s the same word but they all have a very different feeling!<\/p>\n

I have an open feeling with the first example, I feel very claustrophobic with the second, and I almost have a feeling of relief when I look at the third example that’s correctly spaced.<\/p>\n
